Ants on a Log Recipe
Materials Needed:
Celery Stick
Peanut Butter
Raisins (or any small, dark food such as chocolate chips)
Instructions:
A very simple snack idea! Fill the center of the celery stick with peanut
butter. Place a few raisins on top to be your ants. Eat and enjoy!
If you do not like raisins, try tiny chocolate chips!
Spider web
Materials Needed:
Black Paper
Glue
Glitter
Instructions:
Using the glue, squirt lines on the paper in
whatever spider web design you want. Sprinkle the wet glue with glitter and then
set it aside and let it dry. Once dry, sprinkle off any extra glitter and add a
few small plastic spiders if you like!
Fingerprint Ants
Materials: Non toxic ink pad (black) Paper
Black pen or crayon Show your child how to make finger prints on a piece of
paper. Have your child draw six legs, a head and antennae onto their prints to
create ants.
